I should have said I planned to get cash. At 3:45am, right before my shuttle van was to pick me up for the airport, I moozied over the ATM. Entered password, requested dollar amount, card rejected. Huh? I entered my card again, lowered the dollar amount slightly, card rejected. Turns out, my ATM card had expired in May. So, all those souvenirs folks might have been hoping to get, well, let's just say that ain't going to happen on this trip!
So, I've traveled to Haiti with minimal cash, a credit card, and my wits. Now the robbers will really be pissed when they get to me!
